Customer Profiles:

School Campus in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania:

With school budgets ever tightening, the school district was looking to offset fossil fuel costs and build environmentally friendly cost containment into its plan. With a biomass fuel supply containing higher moisture content than usual, the Bio-Power system was a perfect fit for their needs.

At a significant cost savings, Bio-Power technology heated two schools, a greenhouse, a maintenance facility and provided heated sidewalks for improved safety in the winter.

Canadian Commercial Greenhouse in Waterford, Ontario:

Growing commercial crops and plants on a large scale is expensive, risky and energy intensive. By far the biggest cost is energy and one mishap can spell disaster for an entire season. A self-contained Bio-Power system provides safe, reliable and independent heating through all kinds of weather challenges.

Federal Correctional Facility in Virginia:

Law enforcement is constantly under the microscope of legislators, regulators and the public. Federal correctional facilities are no exception. A Bio-Power combustion to steam project now heats an entire correctional campus and has provided tremendous savings to taxpayers. In addition, guests of the correctional system are trained in the cleaning and maintenance of the system at this site, providing valuable skills and technical knowledge for potential use for similar employment upon release from the federal system.
